Title of The Project
Student Information System: - The Student Information System is a student-level data collection system that allows the Department to collect and analyze more accurate and comprehensive information.
Information Systems Student is the primary systems for operating schools and colleges.
A student information system (SIS) is a Web application for education establishments to manage student data. After analysing the requirements at its premises pertaining to adding student information, updating student information, deleting student information, and viewing student information.
While developing this application, I kept in my mind all the features and constraints which were necessary. I gave special attention on detailing but less complex system, accuracy, security, efficiency, maintainability and reliability that are must for this type application.
I tried my best to make it general-purpose software so that most of college or university can use it.
- To provide a proper registration channel/ system for new students.
- To maintain all the accounts of the students in digital form from enrollment up to the end of the study.
- To update the information available to the departments at their desk whenever required in just a click away.
- To have a centralized control over the records of the students.

Back End: MySQL server 5.6.12
Platform: Windows XP/ windows 7, LINUX
Browser: - Mozilla, IE8, IE8, 10, 11, Opera, Chrome.
Server : Wamp Server version 2.4
Additional requirements: Apache 2.4.4, MySQL 5.6.12, PHP 5.4.16, PhpMyadmin 4.0.4, SQLBuddy 1.3.3, XDebug 2.2.3.
The scope and capability, of student information system (SIS) that are implemented in relatively small organizations to cover student records alone, to enterprise-wide solutions that aim to cover most aspects of running large multi-campus organizations with significant local responsibility.
The Student Information System empowers you to:
- Manage Student Information efficiently.
- Record Student billing details like name, roll- no., Programme, semester, date of birth, father’s name, address, phone no., email id, etc.
- Add new Student Information
- Modify Student Information.
- Delete Students information easily.
- View Student Information.

Add Student Information
This module allows us to add student profile records under the following attributes:-
Modify Student Information
- This module allows us to update student profile records for the attributes that have been added under the “Add Student Information System” module.
- The database in Updated each time we click on the “Update Student Information” button. The records that are existing in the database can be updated for the latest information that is available.
Delete Student Information
This module allows us to delete student profile records for the attributes module that have been added under the “Student Information System”
View Student Information
- This module allows us to view the database contents.
The database contents can be viewed exactly as they exist in the database
About Mini project (SIS)
It is a small module of About Mini project (SIS).
- Everything has its own scope of modification and improvement. In this project we will add more modules that support extra information & search facilities.
- Regarding internal organisation of the project we will improve its security features using advance technologies so that unauthorized user can’t break the integrity and authenticity. Illegal access will be prevented and strictly prohibited.
- Further we will improve upon validation code. Each record and entries will be properly validated before storing in database
- This Student Information system project will serve as a useful approach to data base dialog box to update add, advanced search options for the authorized person. It serves as a helpful approach for the users. It reduces the time taken by the user to add, update, delete, and view the information.
- Thus the project is the user friendly approach
